Set within the open rural landscape of Denmark, Langelinie reinterprets the traditional thatched farmhouse through a contemporary, climate-driven approach.

Inspired by the classic three-winged farmhouse, the new wooden structure is organised around a sheltered courtyard that offers protection from wind, enhances daylight, and strengthens the relationship between indoor and outdoor life. The thatched roof, crafted using one of the world's oldest construction techniques, provides natural insulation and durability while visually anchoring the building in its landscape.
